Offshore Painting Services promotes a Zero Harm culture

At Offshore Painting Services we understand that safety is paramount, our technicians work to the highest health and safety standards, promoting such standards and fully embracing the companys’ safety culture.

The environments in which our technicians work are demanding, changing not only by the day, but often by the hour and even by the minute. This requires careful planning, paying particular attention to risk and managing accordingly. OPS operate a strict regime of risk assessment, reacting to the dynamic nature of the geographical location, and following documented processes which form the bedrock of our approach to each task, ensuring completion in a safe and efficient manner.

Offshore Painting Services are fortunate not to have suffered any recordable lost time incidents since the company was formed in 2010.

The health, safety and welfare of our technicians is a primary concern; to ensure they are equipped to deal with any hazard associated with tasks they may perform they undergo the following training, as a minimum:

    • GWO Working at Height
    • GWO Sea Survival
    • GWO Manual Handling
    • GWO Fire Awareness
    • GWO First Aid
    • CCNSG
    • OGUK Medical
    • Environmental Awareness

Further additional training is provided, if required, as follows:

    • Electrical Awareness
    • Siemens Level 2
    • Banksman/Slinger

We are proud of our Health and Safety record and our reputation within the industry, which has been gained through our commitment to the team and a culture of health and safety dedicated to Zero-Harm.
